Where we ship

We currently ship within the United Kingdom.

Dispatch schedule

We bake to order and dispatch on set days each week:

  • Orders placed between Sunday 3:00 PM and Wednesday 3:00 PM are shipped on Thursday.
  • Orders placed between Wednesday 3:00 PM and Sunday 3:00 PM are shipped on Monday.

Dispatch days: Monday and Thursday.

Delivery service & pricing

  • Service: Royal Mail 24 Tracked (aims for next-day delivery, not guaranteed).
  • Price: £5.50 per parcel (flat rate while we finalise courier options).

Note: We’re exploring DPD services for future orders; pricing may be updated once confirmed.

Pickup / collection

If you prefer to collect, pickup from Bushey is available every weekend. Please allow 48 hours notice. Pickup date and time can be selected during checkout (subject to availability).

Important delivery terms

  • Please ensure someone is home on the expected delivery day. Missed deliveries may be carded or delayed by the carrier.
  • Correct address: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address (including postcode and access details). Delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses are not our responsibility.
  • Risk transfer: Once we hand your parcel to the courier, title and risk of loss pass to you. We are not responsible for parcels once with the courier.
  • Transit times: Royal Mail 24 Tracked usually delivers next working day after dispatch, but this is not guaranteed. Delays can occur during peak periods or due to events outside our control.

Tracking your order

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link when your order is dispatched. Please use the link to follow your delivery and manage redeliveries with the courier if needed.

Delivery instructions & safe places

If you provide “safe place” or neighbour instructions, these are followed at your risk. We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from parcels left as instructed.

Undeliverable / returned parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or missed redelivery windows, we’ll contact you. Reshipping may incur a new delivery charge. As our goods are perishable, returns may not be suitable for re-dispatch.

Damaged or missing items

If something arrives damaged or an item is missing, please email orders@thetreatroom.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the parcel, packaging and contents so we can assist.

Warm weather & perishables

Our treats are perishable. During hot weather, please bring parcels indoors promptly. We cannot accept responsibility for product quality affected by delayed collection from your doorstep or a depot.

Holiday periods & peak seasons

During bank holidays and peak seasons, dispatch and transit times may be extended. Any temporary changes to our schedule will be announced on the site or at checkout.
